Physical Therapy Session Fees:
60 minutes = $180
There are no additional charges for the patient for use of the telehealth format, compared to the in-person session fees. We do offer variable treatment session times, (30 or 60 minute sessions). Treatment session duration considerations are based on what is recommended clinically and patient preference, which can be discussed with your therapist.
Payment is due at the time of the session and can be paid online or by phone. As a courtesy, we will continue to submit your PT claims to your insurance. Any insurance reimbursement will be issued directly to the patient. See FAQ page “Insurance and Payment” for more information.
COVID-19 information
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the use of telehealth (also called telemedicine) in all areas of healthcare is becoming more and more utilized and necessary. For this reason, the state of insurance coverage for telehealth is changing often. Please contact your insurance provider to inquire about the current status of your individual plan coverage for telehealth for physical therapy. Note: Link Physical Therapy is out of network with all insurances.
Questions to ask your insurance provider:
Will services provided by physical therapists be covered when provided via telehealth?
If so, what codes should be billed, what modifiers are required, and what should the place of service (POS) be?
Telehealth requirements & tips
Internet access
Have a device (phone, computer, tablet) with a functioning camera and microphone
Sign a modified telehealth consent form (to be sent to you prior to your session)
Other recommended tips:
Find a quiet room, preferably with a door to minimize interruptions, with clear floor space for exercise. Exercise or yoga mat may be useful for floor exercises.
Wear comfortable clothes, ready to move and exercise
Headphones with a mic is helpful to minimize background noise and for your own privacy at home. Wireless headphones can allow for easy movement further from your device to move and exercise. If background noise is not an issue, this may not be necessary.
A stand/prop for your device camera (if you use a phone or tablet) can allow you to perform exercises in front of your camera hands-free.
Have exercise equipment ready that you may already use (foam roll, resistive bands, weights, exercise ball, etc). Your PT will discuss this with you for upcoming sessions.
