  • Part-Time Physical Therapist – Pelvic Health

    Professional Qualifications:

    • Licensed physical therapist in IL

    • Post-professional training in pelvic health & women’s health: APTA CAPP course series or Herman & Wallace

    • Minimum of 1 year of clinical direct patient care experience in pelvic health and women’s health physical therapy

    • Strong orthopedic PT skills

    Hours: Very flexible. Part-time – approx. 10-15 hours/week with opportunity to increase as caseload grows

    Link PT is a boutique, women-owned, private physical therapy practice, specializing in pelvic health for all genders and ages, women’s health across the lifespan, and musculoskeletal care. We offer a safe, caring, respectful, and welcoming space for our patients and staff with the focus on empowerment and optimizing health and wellness. PT sessions are 1:1 for one hour, with streamlined clinical documentation, scheduling, billing, and administrative support. Our practice model is intended to prioritize individual patient needs and goals by supporting our PTs to focus on what they do best – offer excellent, high-level, compassionate care.

    Compensation: Based on experience level. PTs are compensated for the care provided.

  • We are looking for an enthusiastic and responsible Administrative Assistant to perform a variety of administrative, clerical, and operational tasks.

    Duties of the Administrative Assistant include providing support to the therapists, performing daily office and patient reception duties, and maintaining a welcoming, efficient, and clean clinic office environment/space.

    Administrative Assistant responsibilities include greeting and registering patients through in-person, telephone, and email communication, management of payment transactions, scheduling of therapy appointments, organization and purchasing of clinical and office supplies, and assisting with clinic disinfection procedures.

    This position requires excellent oral and written communication and customer service skills, reasoning skills to be able to solve practical problems, and the ability to work effectively within a team. The ideal candidate would be detail-oriented, resourceful, and possess a strong work ethic.

    Ultimately, a successful Administrative Assistant should ensure the efficient and smooth day to day operation of our practice.

    Job Qualifications

    • Education: Associate's degree or higher

    • Experience: 1-2 years of related experience

    General Accountabilities

    • Reception duties: greet and register clients, answer telephone calls, manage payment transactions, and schedule physical therapy appointments.

    • Use of web-based scheduling, documentation, and billing software

    • Manages daily clinic space/flow to optimize efficiency, safety, cleanliness, confidentiality, and comfort for clients and staff.

    • Manages waiting room/reception area environment

    • Ensure confidentiality and controls access to sensitive information, such as patient records and private health information, in compliance with HIPAA.

    • Organizes and secures office and clinic supplies

    • Manages inventory of clinical and office supplies.

    • Supports cleanliness of clinic with small trash bin removal, clinic disinfection procedures, and washing/folding linens.

    • Communicates promptly and effectively via telephone, email, and in-person to customers and staff.

    • Communicates with referring physician offices to update contact information, obtains PT referrals, and sends authorized patient clinical reports/records.

    • Composes and produces simple business correspondences, reports and related materials with guidance

    • Reviews and signs materials, as authorized.

    • Edits, files, and updates clinic office documents.

    • Responds to inquiries and requests for information requiring knowledge of Link Physical Therapy practice, services, and practitioners.

    • Serves as an internal resource to staff on company procedures.

    • Performs administrative duties associated with scheduling appointments, coordinating meetings, and planning events.

    • Coordinates office activities and operations to ensure efficiency and adherence to company policies.

    • Arranges with vendors for services and clinical/office supplies, and handles payment for purchased goods/services as authorized.

    • Oversees office operations.

    • Schedules, assigns and prioritizes workload by setting appropriate deadlines.

    • Clerical duties: Ability to manage paper and electronic files, scan documents, computer data entry

    • Reception: Proficient use of 2-line telephone, fax, printer, scanner

    • Computer skills: Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel (basic), Internet, Facebook
